The impacts of an unhygienic environment

The impacts of an unhygienic environment

The negative impact of a dirty environment is evident in the poorer countries. They face diverse health problems that are because of a the absence of basic facilities or worse, an unsanitary and unsanitary environment.

This is because of the lack of understanding about the basic principles of hygiene and not adhering to the basic guidelines. Poor water supply, inadequate sanitation. Inadequate treatment of garbage is among of the most important elements that contribute to an unhygienic atmosphere.

The most frequent problems encountered by those who live in a dirty environment include diarrhea and malaria, respiratory illnesses and worm infections. These health problems do not only impact the individual, but directly impact the development of society and.

For instance, a study conducted in Bangladesh found that diarrhea caused an annual loss of 2.1 percent of GDP as a result of a decline in productivity of workers and an increase in cost of healthcare.

Malaria is another serious issue resulted from unhygienic conditions. It is a mosquito-borne illness which affects around 200 million persons each year. In Africa it is the cause of over 60% of children’s deaths.

Respiratory infections can be frequent in areas that have low cleanliness and sanitation. They are the most frequent cause of death for children less than 5 years of age. The worm is prevalent in areas with insufficient supply of water and poor sanitation.

In the research, it was found that a dirty atmosphere is harmful to society when contrasted to a country that is industrialized. So, people who live in these areas should be conscious about their environment and ensure that they keep a clean environment for healthy living.

The illnesses you could contract from bad surroundings

Diarrhoea, malaria, respiratory infections and worm.

I will discuss diarrhea in detail. It is an illness caused by bacteria. If you drink the polluted water, you’ll get an stomach infection.

The primary symptoms of diarrheal illness include watery stool that makes you vomiting. Sometimes, it can cause you to become dehydrated, which can lead to death.

The reason why diarrheal disease occurs is because people don’t cleanse their surroundings and urinate everywhere they wish including on roadsides or in open areas.

They simply use the space they want, such as a the toilet in a public space or a water fountain and the illness spreads throughout the community due to the flies that live in these areas and transport the contaminated feces of other areas.

I believe this is one of the most serious issues for countries with poor infrastructure like Bangladesh in which we see a lot of people who have no idea about hygiene basics, and pooping all over the place and not cleaning up after themselves (that’s the reason we see heaps of garbage all over the place).

According to estimates, around 3 million persons die each year due to diarrheal diseases.

Respiratory Infections

It will be my turn to write on respiratory diseases in the next post. It is a very common disease that is caused by bacteria, viruses or other bacteria and it can affect the respiratory system, including your throat, nose and lungs.

The signs include chest pain, coughing as well as shortness of breath and an increase in temperature. The risk of contracting this illness is extremely high for children since it can cause pneumonia, which is the most frequent cause of death for children less than five years old across the globe.

In 2013 the year 2013, there were 1.5 million deaths caused by respiratory infections, with the majority of which were children.

One reason why respiratory disease can be so fatal in these countries is because the majority of people do not receive proper medical care and are reliant on conventional treatments.

Another motive is because people living in these countries do not clean their hands after coughing or sneezing which can lead to the spreading of bacteria and germs (flu virus is spread through droplets of coughs and sneezes).

Worm Infection

In the next post, I’ll discuss the worm infection. You can contract one of two kinds of diseases that cause intestinal worms (which can cause diarrhea) and the trachoma (an eye infection caused by the bacterium).

Both infections can be passed on when drinking water that has been contaminated with feces that contain the worms and their larvae. They are ingested in human feces, which contain eggs of worms, or they’re carried by flies living in areas that are not clean, such as open latrines and sewers.

One of the most significant issues with worm diseases is that they usually remain unnoticed because the symptoms aren’t immediately apparent. If they are not treated they can lead to serious health issues, like anemia, malnutrition and even death.

This is why it’s crucial that people living in these regions to have access to clean drinking water and sanitation facilities so that they don’t get these diseases in the first place.

As you will see, an unhygienic environment has many negative impacts on the entire society. It is the cause of diseases like respiratory illness, diarrheal disease as well as worm-related infections and many more.

These illnesses cause thousands of deaths each year, and the majority of them occur in the poorest, most developing countries. This is a major issue which needs to be addressed and the first step is to educate people of the importance of proper cleanliness and sanitation.

How can you remain safe in a dangerous setting

What are you doing in order to safeguard yourself from getting sick? The most important thing to do is maintain a healthy hygiene and cleanliness. This includes cleaning your hands frequently. Avoid touching your face and using soap and water that is clean to wash and bathe your clothes.

Also, avoid contact with surfaces with contaminants and staying clear of places that are awash with rubbish and insects.

If you’re planning to travel to an area that has an increased risk of contracting disease. Take an effective insect repellent to shield yourself from mosquitoes. If you do fall sick, be sure to get medical attention immediately.

So you can be treated and possibly be able to recover quickly, stopping the disease from becoming worse. By taking these steps, you can ensure that you are protected from illness and help ensure that you live a the best, most enjoyable life!
